From the national finals of "Jugend forscht" to various road shows, in-house exhibitions and product presentations, from employee incentives to major celebrations such as the 150th anniversary of Bayer AG or the 125th anniversary of Chempark. In addition, civil weddings have been solemnized, marriage proposals made, conferences held, charity games, Christmas parties, gala evenings and mystery dinners.

The second floor of the VIP West area continues to be the heart of the events business. While the premium lounge offers around 1,000 guests an exclusive all-round carefree package on match days, the area is transformed into a functional and ultra-modern event and conference centre during the week. "It's an extremely exciting business," says BayArena-Plus team leader Stephanie Quandt, who, incidentally, has been with the team since day one, and goes on to say: "Because it's always a challenge to find the balance between match-day and non-gameday." The event market is still booming - and in order to keep up with this, continuous innovations are introduced in the BayArena in order to the customer a corresponding variety and to stay technically up to date.

These further developments in "our black and red living room" include, for example, the Schwadbud, which can be booked for business related and private events alike. It and offers the perfect setting for receptions, product presentations or even wedding celebrations with its rustic-modern ambience. In addition, the beer garden on the west stand is a place to linger, and not just for fans. Various conference rooms and the 19nullvier lounge round off the BayArena-Plus offer. "Standing still is falling behind, so we are happy to storm into the next ten years," says Quandt.
